Analog Tape Project
There is nothing quite like the sound of analog tape. The Analog Tape Project offers an affordable way to run your music through authentic reel-to-reel tape and high-quality outboard gear to add warmth, saturation, and natural compression to your mix.
Your track is processed through our analog signal chain and returned as a high-quality stereo mix at the sample rate of your choice (44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, or 96 kHz).
Gear
Sessions are run through a carefully maintained ¼” Tascam 3340S reel-to-reel tape machine at either 15 IPS or 7.5 IPS. The signal chain includes Universal Audio, Neve, and SSL outboard gear, with conversion handled through a Universal Audio Apollo X8P.
High-quality cassette summing is also available upon request for artists looking for a more lo-fi texture.
